Anti-labor conservative extremists have launched a string of attacks in recent years. These attacks tried to instill county-level Right-To-Work laws that suppress wages and lower workplace safety. Conservative extremists also tried to reduce unemployment benefits for our financially vulnerable community members.
These extremists are now trying to overturn the voter-approved Prop A, which expanded paid sick leave and increased the minimum wage, while simultaneously attempting to repeal the capital gains tax.
